#Production Engineer (Night Shift) – #Joinery Division

Depa is a global leader in interior fit-out contracting, headquartered in Dubai and renowned for delivering world-class interior solutions. We are currently seeking a Production Engineer to join DIG Factory, our specialized joinery subsidiary. This is a full-time, on-site night shift role based in Dubai.
#Role Overview:
The Production Engineer will oversee all joinery production activities during the night shift, ensuring smooth operations across all sections. The role requires hands-on supervision, strong coordination skills, and a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
#Qualifications / Competencies:
– Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
– Proven experience in joinery or woodworking production, preferably in an interior fit-out environment.
– Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to work independently and manage teams during off-hours.
– Excellent communication and reporting skills.
#Key Responsibilities:
· Manage and monitor joinery production activities across all sections during the night shift.
· Coordination with all factory sections.
· Monitoring production flow
· Production planning and schedules
· Responsible for the development and improve efficiencies and throughput in all processes within the Production areas
· Responsible for maintaining plant layouts using AutoCAD
· Responsible for working with Department Managers in improving process flow and eliminating waste within their department to achieve production output and quality goals.
· Responsible for developing new and improved methods for increasing material yields and reducing material waste.
· Responsible for implementing and training Associates on Lean Manufacturing techniques and methods
· Assist in the design and implementation of featuring/jigs to support improved quality and efficiency
· Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety protocols.
· Coordinate with day shift teams for seamless workflow transitions.
· Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Maintain accurate records of production output, resource usage, and shift reports.
· Supervise and guide technical staff and machine operators to ensure optimal performance.
